Redsalt Angel Investment Network (RAIN) is inviting applications and pitch decks from investment-ready startups seeking growth capital and strategic support.

We invest in ambitious early-stage businesses in African frontier markets that are

solving real social and environmental challenges through the market, generating

revenue and demonstrating strong potential for sustainable growth and impact.

Who should apply?

We are looking for startups that:

• Are legally registered and actively operating in Uganda or Sierra Leone

• Have existing products or services already in the market

• Demonstrate consistent revenue generation and active clientele

• Maintain organised operational, legal and financial systems, including proper financial records

• Integrate technology as part of their business model or operations

• Have scalable and sustainable business models with clear growth potential

• Demonstrate measurable social and/or environmental impact

• Show strong understanding of the problem they are solving and the market they operate in

• Are led by committed and capable teams

• Are open to equity investment (shares in exchange for capital investment) and

• long-term strategic partnership

What Selected Startups Receive

Successful applicants will gain access to:

• Equity investment in the range of 30-100k EUR

• Strategic and operational support

• Connections to investor and ecosystem networks

• Business advisory and mentorship

• Governance and investment readiness support

• Long-term partnership to support growth and expansion
