About.

Charmaghz is a registered non-profit organization located in Kabul. Founded by young Afghans affected by war during their childhood, the organization aims to support the education and well-being of Afghan children. They operate mobile libraries that house 400 books in Dari, Pashto, and English, covering subjects like science, stories, and history. Initially using buses to move between schools, Charmaghz has transitioned to utilizing library tents. These mobile libraries facilitate activities designed by a licensed psychologist to foster children's self-expression. Each library is staffed with a librarian and an assistant.
