To attain gender-just climate action, and uplift the livelihoods of women and youth in Kkona village community and Wakiso District at large, through environmental protection, agri-business and organic farming.
Vision
Kkona Women strives to create a future in which all women will be involved at every stage of climate action including decision making, mitigation and adaptation because they are a very important group who contribute a lot to achieve Sustainable Development Goals which are interrelated with climate crisis in every way.
Our Impact
In a remarkable move to empower Kkona Women and bolster entrepreneurship, the Redsalt Foundation has funded an innovative machine designed to enhance the efficiency of Kkona women in their daily work. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the journey towards economic independence and entrepreneurial success for these industrious women.
